J. Dennis Morgan, Administrator/Owner
Dennis has been a Nursing Home Administrator
for 5 years. He manages both the Carlyle House and Waban Health
Nursing Home of Newton. Dennis' background in healthcare dates back
to 1990. He has had extensive experience in rehabilitation, particularly
with individuals possessing neurological disorders.
Dennis has an A.B. in sociology from Albion College
in Albion, Michigan and a Masters in Urban Planning from the University
of Michigan.
Dennis lives in the Metrowest area with his wife
of twenty-seven years, Jan, and his two teenage sons, Michael and
Christopher.

Linda Sullivan, R.N., Director
of Nurses
Director of Nurses since 1998 with over 30 years
of nursing expertise, including twenty years specializing in Geriatrics.
Linda is a graduate of Holy Ghost Hospital School of Nursing and University
of New York and has received a Legal Nurse Consultant Certificate
from Northeastern Universty. |
Pauline Yarnell, L.P.N. ,
Supervisor of Nurses
Pauline has been employed at Carlyle House since
October 1998 as the Nursing Supervisor. Her career began as a Certified
Nursing Assistant. In addition to working as a Certified Nursing Assistant
she went back to school and graduated with a Nursing Degree. Pauline
has been working in the geriatric field for over 25 years. She is
happily married and a mother of four children and a grandmother to
three wonderful children. |
Rosita Correa, Food Service Supervisor
Rosita is a Professional Food Manager who is nationally
certified by the American Food Safety Institute. She has been at Carlyle
House for the past eleven years and in the food service industry for
over fifteen years. Rosita has been married for twelve years and has
two sons, Eugenio and Stephan. |
Jeanne Shumrak, R.D., Consulting Dietitian
Jeanne is a Registered, Licensed Dietitian with 25
years of acute and long term care experience. Jeanne received a Bachelor
Of Science Degree in Nutrition from Drexel University, and a Master
Of Science Degree in Nutrition Education from Simmons College.She
is a consultant to several long term carefacilities. |
Debbie Gitner, L.C.S.W., Director
of Social Services
Director of Social Services at The Carlyle House
since 1997. Debbie has over 25 years of experience working with the
geriatric population in the acute or long-term setting. She is a graduate
of Boston University and is a Certified Mediator. |
Mary Shea, Director of Activities
Mary has been employed at The Carlyle House since
1995 and has been Director of Activities since 1998. Mary completed
the 90-hour Basic Education Course for Activity Professionals and
is a current member of the Massachusetts Council of Activity Professionals.
Mary attends numerous conferences, seminars and in-services throughout
the year. |
Susan Legrand, L.P.N., Director
of Admissions/Marketing
Susan has been associated with the Carlyle House for over ten
years. Actively
participating in various roles, she currently has become the Director
of Admissions/Marketing. Her experience in over 25 years in geriatrics
brings insight to the needs and desires of the elderly both in the
facility and in the community. As a member of Framingham Roatary,
Bay Path Alzheimer's Association and the Callahan Senior Center, Susan
can be a wealth of information. |
Patricia Sleeper, R.N., MDS
Coordinator
Patricia has been employed at Carlyle House for
4 years, taking over the position of MDS Coordinator last year. She
is a graduate of Newton Wellesley Hospital and has over 40 years of
experience in both acute and long-term care. |
Omar Legrand, Director
of Maintenance
Omar has been with the Carlyle House for over
four years supervising the
Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Laudry staff. His goal: to keep the
Carlyle House one of the most well run facilities in the Framingham
area. |
