The safety of residents and staff is of utmost importance at Carlyle House Rehabilitation & Nursing Facility. To assist in limiting and preventing the spread of COVID-19, we implement steps from ongoing review of the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH), and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS.)

Steps taken include:

  • Screening check in for all staff and visitors for potential symptoms.

  • Testing staff, residents for COVID-19 with PCR and/or rapid antigen swabs, based on current protocols.
  • Positive result contact tracing.
  • Cohorting of room assignments and quarantining based on current protocols.
  • Quarantining staff based on current protocols.
  • Immunizations, including primary, booster and second booster vaccines as indicated by current protocols.
  • Ongoing review of updates and recommendations from the CDC, DPH and other healthcare authorities.
